The Members Events team runs events specifically for Chatham House corporate and individual members. With over 150 events a year, the programme covers current issues in international affairs as they arise and develop. These events provide a forum where world leaders, policy-makers and opinion formers can be heard and their views discussed in an impartial environment.
We are looking for an intellectually curious, persuasive and well-organized individual to head up the team and to have full responsibility for the planning and delivery of the Members Events programme. An in-depth knowledge of international affairs and experience of working in the international policy world are essential. Experience in running events and team management would also be crucial.
Drawing in part on the knowledge of Chatham House research staff and its networks, you will identify suitable topics and secure speakers to deliver a well-balanced programme of events. You will also oversee their marketing and on-the-day organization, including security and protocol. The workload is demanding, often involving unsocial hours, and the ability to handle several projects at once is essential.
