1. Work with the Africa CR team and DISA GM to deliver a highly focussed Corporate Relations strategy for key DISA markets.
2. Lead and coach the partner co/dist. Senior figures and/or CR heads to execute brilliantly the CR strategy. Identify and manage appropriate suppliers for local CR support and expertise
3. Successfully engage and coach the DISA GM and Exec, in proactively supporting the delivery of the CR strategy and in owning/driving relevant CR initiatives.
This includes engaging their support in mobilising the industry, in building respect and recognition from key local /regional stakeholders and in securing appropriate resources to deliver our CR strategy in focus markets/areas
4. Access and unlock regional-level opportunities, strategic relationships and resources and earn key stakeholder support and recognition for Diageo
5. To seek to provide a fair and equal tax and regulatory landscape for the business
6. Where appropriate and in agreement with the Diageo Africa Head of CR, ensure that the DISA business is properly aligned from a CR perspective, to access appropriate pan-African opportunities
7. To enhance and protect the image, integrity and reputation of Diageo, including in times of crisis. Lead and maintain best practice standards in corporate relations consistent with our strategy, our values and Diageo‟s COBC.
