UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Temporary Appointee Communication Specialist, P-3 in its Amman Regional Office, Jordan.
Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the Regional Chief of Communication, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of an advocacy and communication strategy to promote respect for children's rights and support UNICEF's mission in the Country Offices and Regional Office for a period of six months to cover during the absence of the Communication Specialist.

Qualification:
Advanced University degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations; or equivalent professional work experience in the communication area combined with advanced university degree in a related discipline.
Five years of relevant work experience in communication, print and broadcast media or interactive digital media, two years of which should be in developing countries.
Fluency in English and Arabic language. Knowledge of French is an asset.
