The US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Local Guard Coordinator in the Regional Security Office (RSO).
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Incumbent is responsible for the first -line management and supervision of the local guard contract. As directed by the Regional Security Officer (RSO) and Defense Security Coordinator (DSC), the Local Guard Coordinator (LGC) is responsible for development of the Local Guard (LG) components of the facility defense and reaction plans for the following facilities; NEC, CDC, Peace Corps, Mission Residences and the off-site warehouse; for daily management and oversight of the guard personnel and resources; for assisting in coordinating security planning and execution of drills with facility and residential security personnel; assisting with the development of security logistics and financial planning; assisting the RSO and DSC with guard contract administration; contractor monitoring and performance oversight; and for providing and/or monitoring the local guard training program.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Performs highly skilled electrical and instrumentation works for the embassy and Aid building. Completely responsible for the Building Automation System data base, Fire Alarm System maintenance and repairs, Fuel Monitoring System maintenance and repairs and recording systems, elevators control systems, water treatment plants electrical and controls, water storage control systems, HVAC ductwork control systems , compound main automatic voltage regulator inspection, compound main and secondary switchgear inspection, maintenance and repairs, advanced building automation systems, advanced building lighting systems and advanced building energy efficiency.

Maintenance Foreman

The US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Maintenance Foreman in Facilities Maintenance Section.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Provides guidance and works with a multi trade workforce of skilled and semi skilled employees engaged in mainly residential maintenance and minor construction projects. Responsible and accountable for total Quality Control on all work performed by workers assigned to this position. Responsible for the residential electricians, residential plumbers, residential carpenters, residential ac technicians. Responsibilities include identification by lower level employees of required spare parts, replacement parts, new equipment installation and Scheduled Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on all 104 residences. Must be able to supervise and troubleshoot automatic transfer switches installations repairs, electrical control panel repairs and or installations, automatic voltage regulation installation and repairs.

Keep accurate and complete data on all utilities of all GOV residences and Embassy, and recommend replenishment. Monitor Luku readings, water levels, fuel usage and possible fuel theft.

Electrician Helper

The US Embassy is seeking for an individual for Electrician Helper's position in the Security Section.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Electrician Helper installs and maintains all residential security equipment. Maintains all security equipment at the Embassy and all Government facilities. Works directly under the RSO Electrician and performs in that capacity when the RSO Electrician is on leave.
