For more than 20 years, PATH’s HIV/AIDS team has worked all around the globe to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, and mitigate the impact of the epidemic. PATH and its project partners have recent been awarded a five-year $45 million contract to improve and integrate HIV/AIDS services in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Grants Manager will work closely with the local Finance Officer and the team in Washington, DC. Located in the Matadi DRC, the Grants Manager's responsibilities will be to:
- Help develop and implement grants management system in the DRC and advise project and partner staff on sub grant management and record keeping, systems, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with USAID and organizational requirements on grantmaking.
- Coordinate with partner organizations to ensure consistent, effective, and efficient project finance.
- Provide information, advice and technical assistance to partners and sub grantees on project related compliance issues such as financial reporting requirements, audit reports, procurement, and grant monitoring.
- Expertise in the financial and regulatory aspects of USAID.
- Expertise in Grant Administration.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills in English and French.
Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting plus a minimum of five years of experience working in health and development programs with substantial expertise in contracts and grant management to civil society organizations, community based organizations, and faith based organizations in developing countries; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
