Resident Engineer
The overall responsibilities will include

Resident Engineer
The overall responsibilities will include
- Coordination of site supervision of Civil/structural works including interpretation of drawings, setting out and general quality control in liaison with the Contractor’s Site Agent.
- Will also present RE’s Reports during Site meetings and at other meetings where required.
Candidates should have a B.sc Civil Engineering degree, 15 years experience, be registered with ERB and have a current Practising License.
Assistant Resident Engineer (Materials Quality Control)
Will generally be on the construction site assisting the Resident Engineer in:

Will generally be on the construction site assisting the Resident Engineer in:
- general setting out for the civil/structural works elements;
- ensuring that placement of reinforcement is in accordance with the drawings and bar bending schedules;
- ensuring quality control and testing for onsite materials;
- preparing Daily Reports on site operations including labour and contractor’s equipment utilization patterns, weather, etc.
- updating drawings and keeping records for as built drawings;
- any other relevant duties assigned by the Resident Engineer.
Candidates should have a B.sc Civil Engineering degree, 5 years experience, be registered with ERB and have a current Practising License.
Assistant Resident Engineer (Logistics and Works Inspection)
Will generally be at the Contractor’s concrete batching plant assisting the RE in:

Will generally be at the Contractor’s concrete batching plant assisting the RE in:
- monitoring of concrete materials quality through sampling and testing;
- ensuring only approved materials are stocked and used for concreting;
- monitoring and keeping records for concrete leaving the batching plant for the site;
- preparing Daily Reports on site operations including labour and contractor’s equipment utilization patterns, weather, etc.
- any other relevant duties assigned by the Resident Engineer.
Candidates should have a B.sc Civil Engineering degree, 5 years experience.
Inspector of Works (Logistics and Works Inspection)
Will generally be on the construction site assisting the ARE (LWI) in:

Will generally be on the construction site assisting the ARE (LWI) in:
- accurate setting out dimensions for the civil/structural works elements;
- checking shuttering for sturdiness, plumbness, gaps, any defects and ensuring that conduits, pipes and openings are correctly positioned;
- checking reinforcement bending, cleanliness and fixing and ensuring placing and curing of concrete is as per the approved sequence and specifications;
- Inspection of road and drainage works to ensure that proper materials and workmanship is maintained;
- Assisting in the compilation of the Daily Reports through documentation of day’s activities including unusual happenings e.g. accidents, delays, etc.
- any other relevant duties assigned by the Resident Engineer through the ARE (LWI).
Candidates should have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering, 5 years experience.
Inspector of Works (Materials Quality Control)
Will generally be at the Contractor’s concrete batching plant assisting the ARE (MQC) in:

- testing of concrete materials quality either on the site or in another approved laboratory;
- helping to ensure that only the approved materials are stocked and used for concreting;
- helping to monitor through records, movement of the ready mix concrete leaving the batching plant yard for the construction site;
- Assisting in the compilation of the Daily Reports through documentation of day’s activities including unusual happenings e.g. accidents, delays, etc.
- any other relevant duties assigned by the Resident Engineer through the ARE (MQC).
Candidates should have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering, 5 years experience.
