The British High Commission is looking for a Personal Assistant for the High Commissioner
The Main duties will include:
Organizing the High Commissioner's diary including arranging events
Handling correspondence to and from the High Commissioner
Arranging programs for the High Commissioner and high profile visitors from the UK or other posts
Responding to requests for advice from British businesses wishing to invest in Rwanda, doing research-and arranging meetings for them as appropriate
Deputising for the Pro Consul in the absence of colleagues
Helping out with other tasks in the High Commission (supporting projects, organising functions, interfacing with senior visitors) as necessary
The Embassy has a small and enthusiastic team. The Embassy covers all subjects relevant to relations between the United Kingdom and Rwanda. The ideal candidate would possess the following practical and personal skills:
Excellent and proven oral and written communication skills in English, French and Kinyarwanda. Excellent and proven organizational skills
Good computer skills
Initiative and adaptability
Being a flexible team player
