AMEX International, Inc., an international development consulting company based in Washington, DC, holds a contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide a variety of evaluation services over the next several years. Under this contract, USAID issues periodic Task Orders (TOs). AMEX is working on a TO proposal request to provide work in Kenya over a 3-year period, on a project called Performance, Analysis, Communication and Evaluation (PACE).
This is a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), assessment and analysis project. The primary objectives are the development of a project able to perform assessment and analysis to inform new program and activity design; to provide continued, on-the-ground performance monitoring, verification, and evaluation of the impact, outputs, and outcomes and environmental compliance for a set* of USAID programs and activities; and to effectively disseminate impact information. The general goal of the PACE project is to support USAID/Kenya in meeting day-to-day information needs in order to make informed program management decisions, as well as to provide substantive support with qualitative, quantitative, and analytical information to assist in assessing and evaluating the Mission’s development hypothesis. AMEX seeks qualified candidates, including Kenyan nationals, for several long-term and short-term (STTA) positions. Long-term positions include Chief of Party, Senior M&E Advisor, and KMIS/GIS Advisor, to be based in Nairobi. A variety of STTA experts will be needed, especially in-country Kenyans, who have monitoring, evaluation, design, database development, and other skills.
