INVITATION FOR BIDS


1. The kyela District Council has received funds from the Council Development Grand (CDG) Primary Health Strategy Development Programme (PHSDP)-MMAM and intends to apply a portion of these funds to cover eligible payments under the work contract.

2. The District Executive Director of Kyela District Council referred to as the employer now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for:

3. Participation is open equal terms to all eligible Building Contractors registered and submitting clear evidence that they can mobilize and have sufficient equipment and competent staff to complete the works within the limits specified in the contract.

4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive tendering procedures specified in the procurement (Goods, Works, Notice No. 97 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations,

5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding

Documents at the office oft the Secretary Council Tender Board, Kyela District Council, Box 320

Kyela, from 07:30 hour's local time to 15:30 hour local time on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.

6. A complete set of binding document(s) in English and additional sets may be by any interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Tshs 200,000/= (two hundred thousands only) for Bid No. LGA/074/2010/2011/W/19-LOT, No.2, non refundable fee of Tshs

300,000 (Three hundred thousand only) for Bid No. LGA/074/2010/2011/W/21 and Bid No. LGA/074/2010/2011/W/22, payable by cash to the DISTRICT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Box 320 kyela.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration in the format provided in the format provided in the Binding Document.

8. All Bids in one original plus two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Council Tender Board, and P. O. Box 320 Kyela. The outer cover shall be sealed and clearly marked tender No. and its lot number.

9. The deadline for submission of Bids is 11:00 a.m hour's local Time on Friday 29th April, 2011. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend in opening at Bomani council hall.

10. Late Bids, portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, and Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the Bids opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
