Using Framework Contract

Invitation for Tenders

1. The Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited has set aside funds for the operation of the telecommunication network during the financial year 2017/2018. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Ethernet Switches and Accessories Under Framework Contract.
2. The Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers/Service Providers of Ethernet Switches and Accessories Under Framework Contract.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.'2013 - Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Extelcoms Building, 1h Floor, 32Samora Avenue, P. O. Box 9070, 11950Dar es Salaam. Tel: 255 22 2 14 2568/2590; e-mail TENDERCONTROL@ttcLco.tz from 08:00 hours to 16:30 hoursoa Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Documents) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000.00 TZS. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker's Draft, or Banker's Cheque, payable to TTCL Headquarter Cashier at ground floor, Extelcoms House.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form in the amount of 1% of the total bid value or freely convertible currencies.
7. A Tender in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Extelcoms Building, 7th Floor, 32Samora Avenue, P. O. Box 9070, 11950 Dar es Salaam at or before 14:00 HRS local time on I5th December 2017. Tender will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the 12th floor, Extelecom Building, 32Samora Avenue, 11950 Dar es Salaam.
8. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
