The Government of Rwanda (GoR), through the Judiciary has received funding from the Netherlands Embassy for a project whose overall objective is to build the capacity of the Judiciary and the National Public Prosecution Authority to fully meet international standards and therefore increase confidence of the Rwandan public and the international community in the criminal justice system. In order to facilitate implementation, the Judiciary intends to use part of these funds for the recruitment of relevant technical assistance and staff.
The Judiciary is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to apply for available contract position under this project which include the following.
Position title: Data Entry Clerks
1. Core mission of Position: Provide a secretarial and administrative support to the GFTU
2. Service Agency: National Public Prosecution Authority (NPPA)
3. Specific tasks:
a. Provide a secretarial and administrative support to the Unit
b. Receive, record and orient all coming and outgoing documents
c. Prepare a monthly report on activities of the central secretariat
d. Fulfill all duties assigned by competent authority
e. Assist and facilitate Regulatory commissions from Foreign countries
f. Prepare weekly and monthly meetings and send minutes to thehead of the Genocide Fugitive Tracking Unit
4. Required Profiles
a. AO in Law;
b. 5 years working experience
c. Fluent in English and French
d. Knowledge of using a Computer
e. Reporting and contact persons,
5. Reporting Relationship: The Data Entry Clerk will report to the Head of Genocide Fugitive Tracking Unit (GFTU)
Application files shall include the following:
1. Application/motivation letters with supporting documents justifying the adequacy of the application with the requirements of the post concerned, Certified copy of the latest academic qualifications
2. Complete curriculum vitae, three reference names and their contacts.
3. The above mentioned documents shall be submitted in one original and two copies.
Only candidates strictly fulfilling the requirements for the posts and having fully justified their choice for one of the positions shall be admitted for deeper evaluation and possibly invited for written examination and/or additional interview. No reply letter is provided for applications rejected by the selections subcommittee of evaluation and no correspondence concerning the issue of recruitment shall be exchanged with potential candidates.
