Public Relations Research and Advocacy Manager
Reporting to the Secretary General, He/ She will join the Executive team of the Organisation and will be responsible for the Public Relations Research and Advocacy Strategy for KEC – Catholic Secretariat
Duties and Responsibilities
* Driving Public Relations Research and Advocacy functions of KEC ;
* Management and support of strategic planning Public Relations Research and Advocacy for KEC-CS ensuring that robust Management Information Systems and processes are in place;
* Policy analysis, development of advocacy strategies and elaboration of annual national KEC-Catholic Secretariat advocacy plans
* Coordination of advocacy activities and development of policies for KEC-Catholic Secretariat
* Developing and implementing a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system for KEC
* Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the programme, including through input on methodologies, indicators and processes
* Developing close working relationship with all Commission of KEC and other key stakeholders (including donors) to establish a shared vision of KEC systems for M&E and adaptive management learning

Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent, Policy Analysis. Knowledge of the research
* Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and explain clearly, issues and events in complex policy fields; to develop policy options and to work to a deadline
* Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
* Superior oral and written communications skills in administrative, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Computer skills and familiarity with standard software packages.
* Able to manage a Website
Personal Qualities
* Able to work under minimum supervision
* Has good interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
* A good knowledge of social teachings of the Church, and Ethical principles
* Group facilitation skills an added advantage
