23.1 PRINCIPAL TUTOR II/INSTRUCTION II – (5 POSTS) RE-ADVERTISED
23.1.1 AREA OF SPECIALIZATION
• MUSIC - 4 POSTS
• MUSIC DESIGN - 1 POST
23.1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach up to NTA level 6 and may assist teaching in higher NTA levels;
• Coordinates teaching activities and prepares learning resources;
• Conducts research, consultancy and community services;
• Develops and reviews curricula;
• Plans, designs and reviews training programmes;
• Supervises students projects and research works up to NTA level 8;
• Supervises and assists junior teaching staff;
• Assumes leadership roles; and
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
23.1.3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s Degree in relevant field who is eligible for registration as a technical teacher,
• Working experience in research/consultancy of at least 6 years,
• have published at least two peer reviewed papers or six consultancy reports,
Or
• Master’s Degree in relevant field who is eligible for registration as a technical teacher with working experience of 10 years in relevant field.
23.1.4 REMUNARATION:

23.2 SENIOR TUTOR I/ INSTRUCTOR I - (1 POST) RE-ADVERTISED
23.2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 6 and may assists teaching in higher NTA levels,

• Conducts research and consultancy projects,
• Develops and reviews curricula,
• Supervises students projects and research works up to NTA level 8,
• Supervises and assists junior teaching staff,

• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
23.2.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s Degree in music who is eligible for registration as a technical teacher.

23.3 SENIOR TUTOR II/ INSTRUCTOR II – (2 POSTS) RE-ADVERTISED
23.3.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 6 and may assist teaching in higher NTA levels,
• Administers examinations up to NTA level 8,
• Supervises and assists students in building up their research/projects,
• Develops and reviews curricula,
• Conducts research, consultancy and community services,
• Assumes leadership roles,
• Instructs students in the department,
• Supervises and assists junior teaching staff,
• Assists students in building up their practical projects; and
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
23.3.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s Degree in music who is eligible for registration as a technical teacher.
• Working experience in research/consultancy of at least 4 years.
23.3.3 REMUNARATION:
• Attractive remuneration package according to institution`s salary scale.
23.4 TUTOR I/INSTRUCTOR I - (1 POST) RE-ADVERTISED
23.4.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 6 and may assist teaching in higher NTA levels;
• Conducts examinations up to NTA level 7;
• Prepares learning resources;
• Assumes leadership roles; and
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
23.4.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in media design, registered as technical teacher.
• Working experience in teaching, research and consultancy of at least three years in similar position in related or allied field.
23.4.3 REMUNARATION:

23.5 TUTOR II/INSTRUCTOR II – (1 POST) RE-ADVERTISED
23.5.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 6 and may assist teaching in higher NTA levels;
• Administers examinations for NTA level 6 students;
• Conducts and supports search and consultancy works;
• Prepares learning resources;
• Supervises field training;
• Supervises and assists junior staff; and
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
23.5.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• First degree in music design or equivalent.
• Working experience in teaching, research and consultancy of at least one year.
23.5.3 REMUNARATION:
