Purpose of the Position
To strengthen ZOA’s donor relations in South Sudan, ZOA is looking for a Donor Account Manager. The Donor Account Manager is a member of the Management Team and reports to the Country Director of South Sudan. Under the guidance and supervision of the Country Director the post holder will: 1.Develop annual funding acquisition plan; 2.Acquire funding from institutional donors (organize/manage timelines); 3.Jointly with the Country Director manage relations with existing and potential donors; 4.Monitor timely, quality reporting in line with donor and head office requirements; 5.Ensure good quality reporting to and communication with the government, the head office, donors and the UN.
Tasks and responsibilities
The Donor Account Manager is responsible for the following tasks, responsibilities, and results:
Donor Account Management •Manage the Liaison Office in Juba and develop its capacity and utility as a fundraising office; •Initiates and maintains contacts with institutional donors based in South Sudan or in the region; •Map regularly the donor landscape and cycle in South Sudan; •Coordinates, drafts, reviews and submits for project concept-notes and proposals approval by the Country Director;
•Monitors the timelines and the quality of Donor reporting; •Works closely with Manager General Affairs and Program Advisory Department towards compliance with institutional donors requirements; •Planning and facilitation of donor visits; •Support ZOA’s contribution in the Cluster System and track and develop access to the Common Humanitarian Action Plan (CHAP); •Coordinates and submits to the Country Director reporting for donors, agencies and head office; •Represents ZOA in cluster- or donor meetings in conjunction with Programme Managers and the Country Director; •Liaises with the Fundraising Department in the Netherlands.
Policy Implementation
•Support or initiate the implementation of policies related to funding coming from Head Office; •Support PAD in capacity building for own staff, CBOs and local partner NGOs and beneficiaries.
Profile
We expect the candidate to recognize him/herself in the following profile:

• Masters in Development or related degrees (preferred); •Minimum of 5 years of experience in international relief and/or development, with a substantial focus on organisational management & control; •Experience of working with institutional donors such as UN World Bank, the EU, USAID etc; •Knowledge of rules and regulations for different institutional donors; •Experience and proven success in proposal writing for larger grants; •Excellent spoken and written command of English.

•The appointment is subject to approval of a visa by the government of South Sudan; •This job contains frequent travelling, including field visits; up to 30%; •The post will be based in Juba but with travel to Field Stations which will also be regarded as duty station. Accommodation will be in a studio apartment at the Liaison Office in Juba. Internet is available in accommodation.
