Relationship Mgr , Standard Chartered Bank - Tanzania
Job Description
•Identify, develop and manage the bank’s business relationships with DO customers Multilateral, Bilateral, NGO’s, Government Funded Projects and Micro Finance Instituions through marketing of the full range of services available from SCBT and other SCB offices.•Contribute to OCC revenues targets
Key Roles & Responsibilities
•Aggressively market for DO business to increase the banks revenues
•To maintain high professional standards and strive to provide quality service to all clients
•Preparation of Development Organization strategy to know where, what and how to drive the business to achieve set budget.
•Manage the DO portfolio to ensure customers receive superior service in order to shift customers into higher margin product lines whilst exercising control over costs.
•Cross border sales campaigns to leverage our regional network with the purpose of enhancing regional and local revenue.
•Monitor accounts and control outstanding within approved limits and credit policy guidelines in order to safe guard the bank from losses.
•Resolve customer complaints and advise process improvements/charges where necessary
•Complete all CDD/AML requirements in a timely manner, and ensure that all client documentation is valid and in place
•Meet regularly with appropriate contacts/organizations to enhance relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
•Good negotiation skills.
•Good understanding of general banking operations and processes to enable speedy resolution of queries is an advantage.
•Adequate bank Product/Pricing awareness
•Ability to identify and develop profitable target customers.
•Profit/Results driven
•Cost conscious
•Strong multicultural awareness
•Tact and diplomacy to develop customer relationships.
•Minimum qualification – University degree.
