Job Description & Responsibilities
- Implementation of project activities
- Monitoring, evaluation and feedback of day-to-day running of project
- Keep record of inventory
- Submit a monthly financial and narrative feedback to the Admin and Finance Manager
- Supports and advises students and customers
- Carrying out training needs analyses
- Carrying out performance assessments to determine the skills gaps between current and desirable learner skill levels
- Designing training programmes appropriate to the skills needed
- Ensuring the learning environment and resources support learner needs
- Designing course materials and other documents such as handouts, manuals and exercises
- Preparing the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment where appropriate
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes
- Developing peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking
- Maintaining appropriate records of learner development and also resource allocation.
- To keep up to date with relevant systems, software and where appropriate programming languages
- To provide one-to-one training support as and when required
- Co-ordinate the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.
Person Specification
- Working knowledge of English and/or French and Kinyarwanda
- Education at University level or Vocational Course preferred
- Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office / Open Office Applications and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in Internet Games, Connectivity and Photoshop is an advantage
- Must be able to work under pressure and have good problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Highly organized, methodical and pays attention to detail.
- Creative and confident and Enthusiastic when delivering training
- Previous training experience is essential, most show proven ability to train and coach in the effective and efficient use of relevant IT systems.
- Ability to learn quickly new systems and applications
- Basic knowledge of budgetary administration
- Must be able to work on evenings and Saturdays
