About us
Railway Children Africa works to create sustainable change for children that live on the street and we are committed to developing effective interventions.
We have recently been contracted by PACT under a USAID grant, to deliver support in programme design and development of services for children on the streets across six cities in Tanzania.
About the role
Reporting into the Head of Programs this new permanent role will see you assist in the ongoing development of effective practice with and for our ultimate beneficiary group across the Railway Children Africa programme.
As Training & Practice Development Officer you will ensure that Railway Children Africa continues to develop effective strategies for supporting children on the streets and that these strategies are made available to a greater number of beneficiaries.
For 75% of your time you will provide training, coaching and support to our partners to ensure high quality interventions are developed. The rest of your time will be spent supporting other key areas of the Railway Children Africa programme.
About you
We see you bringing to the role a background in programming within international development. You will need excellent facilitation, presentation and training experience, ideally to an external audience.
Most importantly we are seeking a candidate who is committed to improving the lives of street connected children in Tanzania.
Closing date: 11am 17th October 2016, Tanzania time
Salary: Negotiable on experience
