Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 45 countries worldwide. MST’s goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our highly motivated team in the following roles;
To promote and evaluate Marie Stopes Tanzania aims and objectives, maintaining acceptable standards in Reproductive Health and Family Planning, and curative services through accurate and reliable pharmaceutical management. The Pharmaceutical Technician is managed by the Hospital Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee pharmaceutical/ medical store room;
• Assist in procurement process of pharmaceutical and clinical supplies;
• Record accurate data of stock entering and leaving the storeroom
• Conduct monthly stock count
• Maintain a proper room arrange and storage of pharmaceuticals in compliance with Ministry of Health guidelines;
• Oversee good dispensing practice in dispensing room
• Adhere to Marie Stopes Tanzania principles and practices
Minimum Requirements
• A Diploma/Certificate in pharmaceutical sciences from recognized institutions;
• Must be enrolled/enlisted by the Pharmacy Council
• At least two years working experience in a similar post
