WELDER – 1 POST Reports To: Mechanical Technician

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Responsible for efficient and proper maintenance of gas turbine equipment and its auxiliaries at the Plant through operating, switching and maintenance programs.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Servicing and repairing power generation machines
• Deal with fabrication of various machine parts and structures
• Report any fault noted in the machines/engines/generators
• Assist mechanical technicians in welding related activities
• To ensure company security and safety regulations are being observed all the time. The priority must be the personnel safety and security of company equipment.
• Responsible in managing plant and equipment safety systems and report any malfunctions.
• Responsible on safety of tools, equipment and other assets of the company.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Key Knowledge, Experience and Skills you must posses

• Form IV
• Trade Test from VETA in Mechanics

REMUNERATION
