Tower Architect- Site and Facilities

The Tower Architects creates and maintains strong, trusted and productive
executive-level relationships and delivers integrated and persuasive
architectural thought leadership to the client, while developing ITS
opportunities for GTS. This role will be evaluated on the adoption of key
IBM Integrated Technology Services offerings, strategies and technology in
the context of the client's agenda. Establishes and develops relationships
with key executive decision makers and influencers at the CIO level and
across the major lines of their client’s business.

Cultivates client and other external executive relationships (advises and
provides guidance to the client CXOs on IBM’s capabilities). Collaborates
with CIO and other CXOs on client's strategic business and technical
initiatives.

Influences client’s technical strategy. Develops and maintains current
knowledge of their client’s current and target technical capabilities.
Orchestrates IBM ITS services solutions for key client challenges and
initiatives. Identifies, creates and leads the IBM cross-brand team of
technical resources needed to address client needs and produce ITS services opportunities.

Integrates IBM technical strategy and resources in front of the customer
providing one face, one IBM strategy for the client.

Leads the development of the overall technical and services strategy and
ensures the supporting architecture will meet the clients business plan.
Provides technical leadership on significant proposals for high profile
client solutions. Leads the development of the overall technical strategy

# Position Requirements

Looking for a Pre Sales Architect that will assume Solution responsibilities for IBM Data Centre Services including design, assessment, build and Data Centre initiatives.
Examines all opportunities to understand customers needs and facilitates
the evaluation process to lead to the adoption of our products and solutions related to data centres.
Experience in Date Centre solutions, including design, consulting, build,
cabling, configurations and energy efficient solutions.
Knowledge of vendors and suppliers within the Data Centre industry.
Experience in selling a Executive level.
Demonstrated ability to manage a large geographical territory.
Information technology background.
Proven client relationship management experience and success.
Ability to work with clients on strategic business initiatives delivering IT value.
Ability to move sales process forward by navigating issues.
Proactive and innovative.
Strong negotiating skills.
Engineering degree or technical background in electrical and mechanical
engineering.
Be able to demonstrate consultative services selling experience, including financial, business and industry insight skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to influence.
Excellent design skills.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in solutioning Data Centre Solutions
At least 5 years experience in Client Relationship Management
At least 5 years experience in technical and business leadership
At least 5 years experience in technical architecture
At least 5 years experience in strategy and customer satisfaction
At least 5 years experience in Consulting with C-Level Executives
English: Fluent

Preferred
At least 9 years experience in Solutioning Data Centre Solutions Infrastructure, Cloud/virtualization pre sales, design, architecture
At least 9 years experience in Client Relationship Management
