(b) Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess the following academic and professional qualifications.
Holder of a Diploma in Optometry (Ophthalmic Optician) from a recognized institution.
At least four years of relevant working experience in a similar position.

(c) Main Duties:
Conducts visual analysis.
Gives optical prescriptions.
Maintains optical aids.
Educates on primary eye care.
Treats minor eye ailments.
Supervises optical workshop.
Performs any other duties as assigned by one’s reporting officer.
