(b) Qualifications and Experience 
Applicants should possess the following academic and professional qualifications.
 Holder of a Diploma in Optometry (Ophthalmic Optician) from a recognized institution.
 At least four years of relevant working experience in a similar position.

(c) Main Duties: 
 Conducts visual analysis. 
 Gives optical prescriptions.
 Maintains optical aids.
 Educates on primary eye care.
 Treats minor eye ailments.
 Supervises optical workshop.
