Pearl Microfinance Company Ltd (PEARL) is a fast growing microfinance company limited by shares. The mission of PEARL is to be a leading financial institution in providing suitable financial services to the economically active population of Uganda. PEARL currently serves over 25,000 clients with 15 branches and agencies spread in 15 districts of Uganda. With the backing of its international and local partners, PEARL is undergoing tremendous growth and transformation. To support this growth on a sustainable basis, PEARL invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following positions available at its Branches. LOAN’S OFFICERS (10 POSITIONS) Main role Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Loan’s Officer (Trainee) will undergo training and orientation to PEARL credit management policies and methodologies and subsequently grow the branch loans portfolio and profitability through client mobilization, timely disbursement and recovery of loans, and maintenance of a quality loans portfolio. Successful candidates will be deployed to any of our 15 branches. Key Result Areas Client mobilization, client training, loan disbursement, client management and recovery, preparation of timely and accurate loan reports.

Requirement: An honors degree on business studies, microfinance, accounting, finance, banking, economics, development studies or related fields, Experience in credit management will be an added advantage, Strong analytical skills, Loan trucking and monitoring skills, Customer care and relational skills, Effective communication skills, A valid motor cycle ridding permit will be preferred
