Pearl Microfinance Company Ltd (PEARL) is a fast growing microfinance company limited by shares. The mission of PEARL is to be a leading financial institution in providing suitable financial services to the economically active population of Uganda. PEARL currently serves over 25,000 clients with 15 branches and agencies spread in 15 districts of Uganda. With the backing of its international and local partners, PEARL is undergoing tremendous growth and transformation. To support this growth on a sustainable basis, PEARL invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following positions available at its Branches. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER Main role/Key responsibilities Report to the executive director, develop and implement company’s human resources strategies that are aligned to the corporate strategy of pearl micro finance. Coordinate selection, recruitment, induction and placement of staff in the company. Give advice, guidance and support regarding HR matters to top management and staff in general. Manage the staff training and development process, including supporting the line managers with training needs. Ensure company’s compliance with human resource related status and regulations. Advice in the performance management of staff and to manage or deal with any performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional way. Manage the pay roll and provide support to the human resource plan and budget.

Requirement: The candidate should be a self starter with a minimum of 2 years working experience in senior human resource management position. Work experience in a reputable organization or a similar micro Finance institution with tangible delivered results. University degree holder with a Bachelor's in Human resources management. Masters degree in Human resource is an added advantage. Also any other professional training in human resource/ administration is an advantage. Highly skilled in computer use especially, Microsoft office, word, excel, power point and with data management skills.
