Chemonics International is seeking resumes for the following positions for a USAID-funded program which aims to strengthen institutional capacity of organizations to produce high quality research on land related issues and strengthen understanding of land law and policy among citizens and government throughout Rwanda. Data Entry Clerk

The data entry clerk will assist in the entry of baseline data that will be used to assess the outcomes and impacts of the LAND Project. Data will be collected from approximately 360 individuals residing in four districts of Rwanda. The data clerk will work for a period of 5 days under a short-term consulting contract. The work will be carried out at the LAND Project Offices under the supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Entry of survey data from questionnaires into computerized database.
• Review of data entered to ensure work is free of errors.
• Meet with Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor on a daily basis to review work
• Generate occasional reports from data entered.

Qualifications:

• Experience in entry of data gathered through questionnaires/surveys, with a minimum of 6 months of cumulative experience.
• I high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access software, including knowledge of how to generate data reports.
• Highly focused and able to enter data at a rate of at least 60 survey responses per hour.
• Strong commitment to producing excellent quality, with superior attention to detail and a low tolerance for making errors.
• Proven ability to engage cordially and respectfully with fellow colleagues; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and energetic; willing to work beyond 8 hours per day if necessary to complete the day´s work quota.
• Collegiality and team spirit.
