Public Relation and Communication Officer

Competences, Knowledge, skills and experiences required
  • The applicant must have a minimum qualification of a Bachelors' degree in Mass communication or journalism;
  • At least 2 years working experience in media or public relations industry;
  • Must demonstrate commitment to RSSB's mission, vision and values;
  • Fluency (both oral and written) in English, knowledge of French is an advantage.
Function/ key results expected
  • Ensures effective utilization of the media and making RSSB's communication more effective and efficient;
  • Ensures that concerns of stakeholders raised via media are promptly responded;
  • Authors RSSB's website and other hard copy publications such as magazines, brochures and pamphlets;
  • Prepares and produces promotional materials, press releases and RSSB magazines;
  • Maintains and updates information on RSSB's website;
  • Prepares RSSB's Radio, TV and News papers programs;
  • Monitors   external   environment  and  identify opportunities to fulfil the corporate PR plans of RSSB.
