Reporting To:Head Of Sales -Personal Banking
The Relationship Manager for Insurance Premium Finance & Banc assurance will be responsible for managing Insurance Premium Finance and necessary support to the entire Retail Banking Division focusing on the creating and managing the Insurance premium finance products, to growth insurance premium finance customer base and maintaining the current ones to the standards as per retail strategic objectives and to manage relationships with the insurance premium finance customers so as to ensure optimum customer retention and income generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage Insurance Premium Finance strategy for the bank taking into account the growth potential, competitor activity and existing customer base. This includes review of existing products, and introduction of new products and services.
Define measurable business growth objectives, management process and measures for sales and service of Insurance Premium Finance.
Deepen the current banking relationships by cross selling to customers' additional products and services to realize new income streams, increased use of products and create dependency.
Manage direct Insurance Premium Finance related costs.
Ensure that the target market selection criterion is adhered to.
Manage all aspects of risk, including monitoring of advances portfolio, strict adherence to the provisions of the credit policy document to ensure minimal losses to the bank.
Work closely with Operations Division to ensure tha' customers have a seamless service experience through all Bank delivery channels.
Engage in the team building responsibly; in order to motivate other team members and departments in the process of adherence to the overall human capital motivation strategies.
Put in place an MIS system that will enable continuous tracking of the unit performance, monitoring of customer satisfaction and provision of management reports.
Facilitate weekly / monthly reports updates to ensure the Head of Department is well informed to share information related to booking pipelines that takes a proactive role in influencing policy and the strategic direction of the Bank.
Take valuable time to understand the entire department responsibilities and activities; hence facilitate business continuity and succession plan work smoothly.
Qualification and Experience Required:
University degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualification in banking or accounting
Experience in Banking and Insurance.
People management skills, including teambuilding, motivation, team goal planning.
Knowledge of investment and wealth management will be an added advantage.
Required skills and Knowledge and Competence
Ability to translate the Bank's strategy into business programmes for Retail Banking.
Ability to play a role of leadership that motivates other sales team members to maximize their productivity in securing new business and maintaining customer relationships
Ability to present, communicate and effect essential changes to grow insurance Premium Finance business.
