Country Director, Kenya – Nairobi
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Country Director for Kenya in Nairobi, Kenya. The incumbent will lead action planning and implementation of the Kenya country program, ensure implementation of rigorous and comprehensive monitoring and evaluation, oversee timely and accurate monthly reporting and effective financial management for all Kenya projects, prepare annual country budgets and develop current and future growth plans for Adeso’s programs in Kenya. The incumbent will also mentor and assist Project Managers and Chiefs of Party with the planning, execution and delivery of projects, develop and maintain close working relationships with all key stakeholders and recruit, manage and motivate a skilled, efficient team with support from Head of Programs and the Human Resources team.

Program Accountant – Badhan
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Program Accountant in Badhan in Sanaag region, Somalia. The incumbent will provide accounting support to all Adeso projects and management, record accounting transactions, prepare and examine accounting records, assist in developing, monitoring and analyzing budgets, plan for project cash flow requirements, process and make payments as provided in the approved budget and assist with facilitation of internal and external audit procedures. The incumbent will also assist in the identification and assessment of any capacity gaps in the finance department, the planning and implementation of capacity building activities for Adeso finance staff and the identification of best practices within and outside of Adeso.

Project Officer – Bosaso
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Project Officer for the Natural Resource Management (NRM) program in Bosaso, Somalia. The incumbent will implement activities in the respective regions of the operational area, provide and implement weekly and monthly activity plans, liaise with community leaders, local authorities and beneficiaries, support and supervise community mobilisers, provide regular community and beneficiary feedback, oversee and manage project expenditures and ensure that projects are implemented in conformity with donor guidelines and procedures. The incumbent will also identify problem areas with the project implementation process and maintain strong links with partners/Government, providing advocacy support as needed.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – Garowe
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Natural Resource Management (NRM) program in Garowe, Somalia. The incumbent will coordinate the development and use of M&E tools at organizational, country and project levels, participate in the development of templates and guidelines, undertake regular visits to the field to support monitoring and accountability processes, prepare an M&E plan for the NRM project, participate in the design and execution of surveys and assessments, support the Quality Assurance Manager in developing performance monitoring and participate in program design and review. The incumbent will also work with the program team to ensure program coordination and quality, providing technical support as well as support to meet reporting requirements.

Logistics and Administration Officer – Galkayo
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Logistics and Administration Officer in Galkayo, Somalia. The incumbent will be responsible for management of agency and rented vehicles, providing required logistical and procurement support to programs, daily coordination of procurement activities, preparation of status reports on deliveries for procurement, logistics and office management, and keeping records of suppliers. The incumbent will also assist in developing appropriate project planning and implementation mechanisms, support the administrative management of projects, produce bi-weekly reports in English and Somali on the security situation in project sites and monitor local and national news, translating appropriate information into daily updates.

Operations Manager – Nairobi
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Operations Manager in Nairobi. The incumbent will ensure the strategic direction of Operations departments in full compliance with Adeso and donor rules through coordination and planning of operational activities, performance management, maintenance of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and management of administrative functions of all Adeso offices in Kenya, USA and UK. The incumbent will also supervise the Logistics team, the ICT team and the Security Manager, ensuring efficient procurement and logistical services in compliance with Adeso policies and procedures, proper and efficient information and communication management, and adequate security protocols respectively.
