We are seeking dedicated and self motivated and highly organized Warehouse Supervisor to join the Supply Chain at Tulawaka to achieve and surpass safety and quality objectives to the reward of both the individual and PML.
Reporting Line: Supply Coordinator
Location: Tulawaka Mine Site
Work Schedule: Rotational Status (6 Weeks on / 3 Weeks off)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Ensuring warehouse processes are developed in conjunction with the Supply Coordinator and are implemented and adhered to.
§ Leadership and supervision of warehouse personnel within Tulawaka Warehouse.
§ Liaison with sister companies on all aspects of their warehousing requirements
§ Co-ordination of work flow through the Warehouse to meet customers’ needs.
§ Compile reports on Warehouse matters when required.
§ Waste Management in accordance with EPA requirements
§ Control movements from main warehouse to UG warehouse.
§ Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth flow of paperwork.
§ Allocate stock to jobs as required.
§ Receiving both stock and non stock items when required.
§ Working to the goals and targets of the company as defined by the Supply Chain Superintendent.
§ Oversee all transactions regarding inventory, Quote for direct sales when required using Pronto (and other systems), Perform periodic stock take counts, Assist in other aspects of the business when required.
§ Assist Tanzanian regional operations in the areas of Stock takes, Maintenance of Stock-In-Transit and Stock Transfers
§ Perform minor maintenance on stock items, Identify products, Assist in other aspects of the business when required.
§ Assist in storage and transport requirements as they arise.
§ Supply Chain - Compile reports on inventory when required; be responsible for Fuel reconciliations and management. Ensure End of Month reports are completed on time every time.
§ Other duties as specified from time to time by the Supply Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicants must have the following qualifications/skills:
§ At least 2 years experience in a similar capacity with a multinational company.
§ Considerable experience in a mining/service industry.
§ Certificates/Diplomas in Purchasing and Materials management.
§ Forklift licence.
§ Current Tanzanian Light vehicle driving licence.
§ A working knowledge of appropriate software programs that will facilitate the reporting and control aspects of the warehouse. These include Word, Excel, Pronto and Access or other database software
§ A high level of oral and written communication skills. In Kiswahili and English
§ Leadership skills
§ Good attention to details and analytical skills.
§ Enthusiastic and motivated outlook
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strive to achieve set K.P.I. targets.
