The Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is recruiting for a Motor Pool Clerk.
Basic function of position
Prepares reports and maintains records of Motor Pool operations to ensure the effective and efficient running of the section.
Requirements:
1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. One year as a driver or mechanic resulting in knowledge of general vehicle operations is required. Two years' office, administrative or clerical experience is required.
3. Level III written and spoken English with possession of comprehensive motor vehicle vocabulary is required. Level 1V Kinyarwanda is required.
4. Knowledge of office procedures, reporting, filing systems is required. Knowledge of general vehicle operations, motor vehicle tools, equipment, supplies and spare parts is required.
5. Must be highly experienced in a variety of computer programs such as word, excel, data base programs and the internet. Must be able to use calculators and other office machines such as photocopier, scanner, fax, etc. Must possess a valid local driver's license.
