Overall Purpose of the Job: In line with BMAF annual operational plan, be overall responsible to plan and co-coordinate implementation of BMAF capacity building initiatives including trainings,mentorship and enhancing knowledge sharing on HRH issues across regional, districts and national level
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement Approved Programme Training Plans - Training for Tutors, Students Grants and all other curriculums
- Under the guidance of the PM-CD take part in the development of the operational methodologies and plans for capacity building activities.
- Coordinate the implementation of the capacity building activities (technical and logistical) for the field offices as per annual plans
- Providing technical and operational guidance to the FCU on the implementation of the capacity building operational plans
- Liaise with the M&E officer to ensure all of the M&E training required tools are provided and well communicated to the FCU
- Request approval of funds for conducting training at the field office and ensure no expenditure overruns
- Review training data entries from the field office through the training database
- In collaboration with the PM-Capacity development and PM-HRM take part into the development ,pilot testing and review of the training manuals and training plans
- Compile capacity building activities reports from the field offices and forward to PM- CB timely
- Under the leadership of PM-CD take part in coordinating and facilitating all the trainings at the field offices
Coaching and mentoring coordination
- Under the guidance of the HRM section, take part in coaching and mentoring visits with particular focus in supporting effective adult learning and Continuous Professional Development aspects
Job Fairs for the Health Sector
- Take part in designing of the methodology and implementation plan for undertaking the Job Fair country wide.
- Coordinate the implementation of the job fair within the zones.
- Compile areas of improvement for the job fair strategies and under the guidance of the PM-CD re-design the strategies for effective scaling up.
- Coordinating funds availability and other logistic and operational requirements for implementing job fairs at the zonal level
- Compile reports and forward to PM- CB timely
Knowledge sharing Forums
- Under the guidance of PM-CP and in collaboration with Programme Officer-Advocacy, take part in designing and review forum’s methodology and implementation plan
- Coordinate implementation of knowledge sharing forums within the field offices.
Position Requirements:
- First Degree/Advanced Diploma Medical Education /Health Promotions/Health Services Management
- Demonstrated 3 years experience in Health Training Institutions and Health Workforce Continuous Development Programs
