ORGANIZATIONAL DESCRIPTION:
AVSI is an International NGO operating in South Sudan since 2005, implementing medium to long-term sustainable health, education, water & sanitation, food security and emergency relief programmes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Ensure that appropriate administrative and procurement policies, procedures and practices are followed
• Monitor the flow of financial, administrative information to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reports are submitted
• Supervision of the Administrative/Procurement staff at field office level
• Review and verify payments requests and their supporting document for accuracy, legality and compliance to organization’s and donor policies
• Monitor the update of books of accounts and records of all expenditures and revenues
• Monitor the implementation of project budgets and provide guidance on budgeting and budgetary control procedures
• Provide support to ensure compliance with relevant contractual obligations
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience, preferably with NGOs
• Excellent use of Microsoft Package
• Fluent in English and Juba Arabic
• Holder of Valid Driving Permit
