The Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Limited is a limited liability company owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. The company publishes Tanzania's leading newspapers - Daily News, Sunday News, HabariLeo, HabariLeo Jumapili and SpotiLeo.
The company wishes to recruit suitable qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions of Legal Officer II; Receptionist and Librarian at our Head Office.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS AND ADVANCEMENT
Entry Qualifications!
Holders of MBA in Human Resources Management or MSc. Human Resources Management, Public Administration or its equivalent from a recognized institution. She/he must have at least 11 years relevant work experience, five (5) of which must have been in a senior managerial position. She/he, must have computer skills and good interpersonal skills. .
Main Duties and Responsibilities!
(i) Fosters and inculcates a business oriented culture, which recognizes superior service, teamwork, taking initiatives, empowerment and respect;
(ii) Fine-tunes the organization set up to ensure that the structure supports the chosen strategic focus and direction;
(iii) Formulates and implements a Manpower Plan which is consistent with the Company's Business Plan;
(iv) From time to time reviews the remuneration package with the objective of attaining internal and external equity balance;
(v) Implements performance management system that supports the business plan;
(vi) Prepares and implements a Training Plan and budget that enhances levels of staff performance;
(vii) Ensures that the Human Resource Management Information System produces the necessary reports for use in planning and control;
(viii) Ensures provision of cost effective welfare services to employees;
(ix) Manages internal transport logistic requirements for all departments;
(x) Manages the upkeep of office environment cleaning services, fumigation, electricity, water and sewerage in an efficient way to ensure all staff clone in a healthy and safe environment;
(xi) Manages the Company's security and out sourced security services, such as the security guards and fire protection services, at the central level '¥;d in the zones to ensure the Company's property are well protected;
(xii) Conducts open performance review and a raise of subordinates and gives feedback;
(xiii) In consultation with the Managing Editor standards as part of the individual objectives/targets and performance agreement
