Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College is a constituent College of Tumaini University Makumira, owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania. The College is based within KCMC Hospital grounds in Moshi, Tanzania The College trains health professionals for various University awards in clinical and health sciences. 4. . ADMINISTRATIVE AND TECHNICAL POSITIONS
Estate/Faculties Management Technician
Qualifications:
Form Four or Form Six Leaver with Full Technician Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Estate Management Building construction or oilier related field from a reputable and recognized Technical College or University.
Knowledge; Skills, and Abilities:
General knowledge and ability to handle both installation and maintenance and repair.
• Good mechanical aptitude, analytical skills and the ability to work with one's hands.
• Basic Computer skills
Main Responsibility:
To oversee activities related maintenance of buildings, grounds, plants, and water system.
Specific Duties:
To provide general maintenance and make repairs for the appliances/devices, electric painting, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning trades; and make recommendations 10 resolve recurring problems. .
Perform major and/or minor repairs, as well preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment I machine.
To keep equipment in good conditions and ordering replacements.
To ensure fire safely, maintenance of fire extinguishers.
To carry out periodic inspection of the College's buildings, assess maintenance requirements, and record inventory of related works.
To perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years working experience in the building construction or building maintenance field in a reputable organization.
