JOB DESCRIPTION
[OFFER ISSUANCE CONTINGENT WITH GRANT AWARD TO WORLD VISION TANZANIA]
Purpose of the position:
To provide high-quality support to the Resilience and Livelihood Team for effective running of the office operation.
Observe mission and core values of World Vision and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
Major Responsibilities:
Facilitate timely collection/review of program performance reports from Chief of Parties, SAFe Program Managers and compile the divisional monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual reports.
Prepare monthly SAFe dashboard, highlight key issues for the Leadership attention and liaise with SAFe managers on key priorities.
Serve as office information manager by devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, compilation of Program performance dashboard updates, etc.
Assist Director in implementing annual mentorship and coaching with SAFe managers and Divisions Specialists.
Maintain updated Grants Documents database tracking commitments, key reporting dates and other SAFe grants requirements
Liaise with relevant departments to prepare/arrange meetings/ workshops venue and logistics where Resilience and Livelihood is a lead actor
Coordinate monthly meeting for the SAFe managers and all Divisional Specialists, take notes and make follow up with each stakeholder.
Maintain an updated database for all WVT partners with regular communications with each of the partners.
Maintain an updated database for all WVT partners with regular communications with each of the partners.
Handle incoming mails and draft routine correspondence in response to inquiries including providing guest with general country information through email, brochures, telephone etc. as per policy.
Disseminate reports generated after meetings and other events
Qualifications:
Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Social Sciences or related fields.
Experience: 2years in related fields
Preferred: At least 1 year experience working with International NGOs
Technical Skills & Abilities:
Computer skills in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of database management
Good planning and organization skills
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staffs
Ability to communicate in both Kiswahili and English
Ability to analyze data
