A decentralised and functional public finance system in Mozambique

Your role
Providing advisory services to the Ministry of Finance on managing
local finances and providing advisory services for elaborating distribution formulas for transferring funds to the municipalities; drafting support strategies and measures to strengthen local financial management; coordinating with the programme’s other specialist advisors on public procurement as well as on municipal development, external and internal controls.

Your profile
You have an university degree in public administration, economics, political science or similar subjects, and have at least fi ve years of relevant professional experience in public/municipal fi nancial management. In addition to very good financial/fiscal administration knowledge, you already have several years of experience in development cooperation and have already worked in other countries. You have excellent social and intercultural skills, are tolerant of frustration, and have experience of working with heterogeneous teams in a politically challenging environment.
