TIGO TANZANIA TI Supervisor

Role Purpose You are responsible for the supervision of TI contractors in order to execute TI installations according to TIGO standards and quality as well as counter-check civil works execution is aligned to the standards before the Telecom installation. Key Responsibilities • Review the monthly roll-out list and implementation requirements. • Make regular follow-up and coordination with the operation group to ensure that site pre-implementation requirements is available prior to TI activity. • Conduct acceptance test together with the TI contractor to ensure that the site have pass the required criteria • Whenever available provide assistance to the operation group in performing site trouble shooting/fault isolation • Prepare daily report and immediately escalate to the right group concerns that needs urgent resolution • Form part of TSS survey team. • Support the Operation team for special project (PM, Site Audit, etc.). • Supervise and approve the IBS (Indoor Building Solutions) projects • Supervise fiber projects and basic civil works activities. • Perform any other activities assigned to him/her by management Position Requirements • University degree in Telecom or Electrical Engineering • Proficiency level in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio) • Sound knowledge of Huawei and Ericson equipments • Knowledge in fiber tech and 3G technology • Basic knowledge in Civil works for tower construction • 3-5 years work experience in telecom field and supervisory experience •You must be able to work under minimum supervision and  flexible to travel extensively to the regions APPLY NOW
