These positions are required to support the financial performance of the Commercial Department by following up on targeted customers when problems arise such as non-payment and where service complaints arise.
Minimum qualification:
Diploma in commercial subjects, sales or marketing and at least two years practical experience in sales or marketing or credit control. .
ICT Specialist
The unit is in a constant state of growth and change and ZAWA staffs are likewise increasing their exposure to the new infrastructure and software. An additional specialist is required to join this unit to boost its service capacity.
Minimum qualification:
Bachelor degree in computer science or other IT related qualification, and two years practical experience.
Communications and media Specialist
These positions are located in the PR section of the Commercial department with one each located on the main islands.
They are required to increase skills and capacity for stakeholder management, media relations, internal communications, creating communications materials and media plans.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor degree in communications, journalism or PR, with a minimum of three years practical experience.
Water Resources Management
We need someone with strong skills in geology, hydrology and environmental engineering to lead the establishment process. Minimum qualifications: bachelor degree in a water resources management related topic and at least three years experience in this field
Planning and Project Management Engineer
This existing section needs a qualified and experienced planning and project management engineer to support the section head as ZAWA rolls out a large infrastructure investment program over the next few years.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering related to water supply or construction management two years experience in design, construction or project management.
WRM Section Technician
We need a technician with a background in WRM to assist the section head with his duties and to gather data about the water resources.
Minimum qualifications:
FTC qualification in water supply and two years experience in technical work.
Electrical Engineer
Minimum qualification:bachelor degree in electrical engineering and two years experience.
Water Supply Engineer
The water supply networks need special technical attention to ensure the systems are designed, operated and maintained correctly.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor degree in water supply and at least three years experience entirely in the water supply sector, preferably in a design role.
Asset Management Engineer
Minimum qualification:
Bachelor degree in civil engineering or water supply, with three years experience in water supply operations or the construction sector. Water production Section .
This section manages the production of water from boreholes and needs skills in mechanical and electrical engineering to operate and maintain the equipment.
Mechanical Engineer
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and two years experience.
