Protection Technician
Position Objective
Responsible for testing of protective relays and troubleshoot control circuit of switchgears in senior Transmission Department.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
To installing, maintaining and trouble shoot protective relays
To test, repair and calibration of protective relaying
Testing of elements of power system such as transformers, current transformer and voltage transformers
To troubleshoot faulty control circuit of switchgears
To assist protection engineer in carry out commissioning of electrical plant
Prepare and submit reports of Jobs completed
Doing any job as directed by protection engineer
Minimum Education and Experience
Key Knowledge, Experience and Skills you must posses
Full Technician certificated with minimum of three (3) years.
Form FOUR or SIX (IV OR VI)
At least 1 year of working experience in related field
Makes realistic, practical, value-based decisions Prioritizes work and uses time efficiently
Plans ahead to ensure that resources are available
In time excellent verbal and written communication

Senior Estate Officer
Reporting Office:Manager Estate Office
Reports To:Principal Estate Management officer
Start Date:One month after the initial advertisement.
Position Objective
Responsible for reporting, operation, controlling, maintaining, testing, trouble shooting, installing and repairing electrical control systems and equipments in senior Management Project Department.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Specifically you will be responsible for ensuring that you:
To supervise Maintenance including painting of the office building and residential staff quarter
Maintenance of cleanliness, clean and green environment with necessary horticulture works and maintaining the same
To prepare and keep record of list of staff members allocated house and list of vacant houses and their status awaiting staff to be allocated.
To supervise Maintenance of all electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment pertaining to the office and maintaining the inventory of the same
To supervise implementation of all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMes) pertaining for cleaning services, garbage and refuse collections, waste water dislodge and gardening.
Under the supervision of the Principal Estate Management Officer to contribute to the development of local community in partnership with other public and private agencies, relevant local groups and organization with particular regard to Estate Services.
As member of the Estate Team, to contribute to the development of policies and practices relating to the work of the Area Team
To liaise with others agencies and contractors to ensure they are providing the service required by TANESCO.
All duties and responsibilities should carry out in accordance with TANESCO policy procedure.
Under the supervision of the Principal Estate Management Officer to carry out and prepare Valuation reports of building for different company use.
From time to time, to carry out any other duties and responsibilities, he might be assigned.
Minimum Requirement
Education: Holder of the Advance Diploma or Bsc. Land management and Valuation from a reputable and recognized college by Tanzania Commission.
Experience:
At least 3 (three) years experience in reputable Estate/
Property Management Company.

Position Objective
Provide specialist advice and assistance to enable proper electrical installations, Air conditioning service and maintenance of electrical equipment in office and. residential building under the Head Office.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Specifically you will be responsible for ensuring that you:
To carry out electrical Installation buildings under the Head Office which include the Umeme Park
Computer and other office and residential buildings located in various areas of Dar- Es- Salaam.
To check and supervise electrical installation activities carried out by contractors engaged In renovation and new construction works.
Submission of technical report for the observed general status of electrical installations and equipment and recommendation for the necessary repair maintenance.
Generally service inspections and checking of all safety controls
Repair and maintenance of defective electrical installation and components
Operation of Electrical Maintenance and Air conditioning Workshop
To supervise the contractor engaged to service and maintain all the type of air conditioning equipment and Service rendered by the contractor.
Minimum Requirements:
Education
Form IV; holder of the full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Electrical engineering specialized in Air conditioning & Refrigeration
Experience
At least 3 (three) years experience In reputable Electrical Engineering and air conditioning Contracting Company

Position Objective
Provide specialist advice and assistance to enable proper electrical installations, Air conditioning service and maintenance of electrical equipment in office and residential building under the Head Office.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Specifically you will be responsible:
To construct and maintain distribution lines network in accordance with the company procedures and standards;
To assist supervisor/engineer in preparing short & long term plans construction/maintenance schedules for expansion of distribution;
To closely monitor load growth on secondary sub-station through periodic measurement;
To conduct routine Inspection of distribution lines;
To maintain all equipments and working tools under his/her jurisdiction;
To render technical support to mains foremen such that all construction and maintenance works are conveniently done in accordance with company's standards and instructions;
In preparing weekly, monthly and annually report for' record keeping, future references and submission to mains engineer within agreed time.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Form IV; holder of the full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Electrical Installation/Ordinary Diploma.
Experience
At least 1 (one) year experience in reputable Electrical Installation
