We are looking for an
experienced individual to join our International Programme Department to
support and contribute to Marie Stopes International mission and goals.
As Deputy Director you will be responsible for leading the implementation and monitoring of a Department for International Development (DFID) – funded global project across fourteen MSI country programmes.
In this role you will be required to provide strategic and regular support to country programmes in the development of their DFID funded project whilst managing and monitoring the support office components for the project.
The Deputy Director will also network and establish positive relationships with DFID inLondon, In-country and actively promote Marie Stopes International.
In order to be successful in the role you will have:
- Extensive knowledge of Donor funded projects
- Project management and strategic leadership experience
- Extensive pr ogramme management experience, preferably gained within reproductive healthcare sector or related field
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Negotiation skills
