UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL FOREMAN
Interested individuals must hold a Grade 12/N3 certificate and a relevant trade certificate (Electrical), plus a valid Foreman or Senior Foreman Certificate and intimate knowledge of relevant mine codes of practice. 2 years' experience in a mechanised mining environment and a Medium Voltage Certificate are also essential.
Duties and responsibilities include: ● Managing the KPAs of subordinates ● Evaluating/monitoring compliance to codes of practice ● Supporting adherence to the Company's full compliance initiatives ● Ensuring the health and safety of the people and conditions in the section ● Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly and annual TM3 maintenance targets are met ● Solving technical problems ● Performing all functions related to LT and HT reticulation
● Managing electrical construction/maintenance work ● Ordering equipment spares.

Candidates must be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based
medical examination at the relevant Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre, and pass a Heat Tolerance
Screening Test. Pre-screening and psychometric evaluation may form part of the selection process.
