Tasks:
- Assist in the research of relevant technical information for the different task forces especially on climate change, green economy, energy, water, and sustainable consumption and production
- Assist in drafting various texts and power point presentations, as well as in developing brochures and background papers
- Support the organization of diverse meetings and side events
- Support the Commission’s work through the review of technical materials and projects
- Support strategies to communicate commission work effectively, i.e. update website, draft newsletter for members
- Support the organization of and provide assistance during ICC Commission and task force meetings
Education & skills:
- Masters in sustainable development management, risk management, MBA, public administration, international relations, business administration, or similar fields;
- Excellent research skills;
- Very good oral and written knowledge in English;
- Very good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point; knowledge with Content Management Systems is an asset;
- Some substantive background in the environmental field would be a plus;
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
Eligibility criteria:
The Applicant MUST:
1. Be currently enrolled in a third or fourth year of under-graduate (BA/BSc.) or in a graduate (Masters) or post-graduate (PhD) programme, and will continue to be enrolled during the period of the internship.
2. Be willing to intern on a full-time basis spending five days a week for a period of six months.
