Job Purpose
The Health Manager will be the focal point for Save the Children’s delivery of primary health care services in Upper Nile & northern Jonglei States. The Health Manager will ensure the implementation of a quality health program for host population and returnees, in accordance with accepted national and international standards, supporting local partners to deliver high quality health service delivery. The Health Manager will identify gaps in health services and take the necessary steps to address those gaps. He/She will provide technical oversight to field-based health staff in the area of primary and reproductive health, with an emphasis on coaching national staff to build their capacity. She/He will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with all partners, including the Ministry of Health, UN agencies and other NGOs.
