Description: | IMA World Health is currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer for an anticipated USAID-funded project to build the capacity of Kenyan organizations to lead and empower civil society to better respond to the health needs and well-being of all Kenyans. |
Duties: | The Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of financial managment for Institutional Strengthening programs and implementation of established systems for financial operations in accordance with the IMA World Health policies and procedures and donor regulations, including systems for cash flow management, budgeting, consolidation of accounting information, internal controls, financial reporting, financial record-keeping and compliance. The successful candidate will display an impeccable professional standard of finance ethics as well as the willingness and ability to enforce compliance with IMA World Health and donor policies and procedures. |
Qualifications: | Desired qualifications: BA/S or equivalent in accounting or finance is required; four years of progressive financial management experience with three years of international NGO/PVO field office experience required; experience with USG and other donor financial requirements and reporting preferred. English fluency required. Kiswahili fluency strongly preferred. |
