Description: | IMA World Health is currently seeking an experienced Capacity Building Specialist for an anticipated USAID-funded project to build the capacity of Kenyan organizations to lead and empower civil society to better respond to the health needs and well-being of all Kenyans. |
Duties: | The Capacity Building Specialist will determine capacity development needs of local NGOs/CSOs; design and implement capacity building activities and develop package of standardized tools and resources for CSOs; monitor capacity building activities and revise as necessary in response to local NGO/CSO feedback and needs. |
Qualifications: | Desired qualifications: Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Community Development or related field; minimum of five years experience working on complex civil society strengthening projects; working experience in institutional development and project management with three years minimum of international NGO/PVO field office experience. English fluency required. Kiswahili fluency strongly preferred. |
