Opportunity:
We are looking for experts for anticipated agricultural projects in East Africa starting later this year. We anticipate opportunities on market systems value chain development projects with nutrition and climate change components. Candidates should highlight in their CV experience in any of the areas listed below:
* Access to finance
* Livestock
* Dairy
* Horticulture
* Cereals
* Post-harvest handling
* Value Chains
* Resilience
* Nutrition and agriculture
* Gender integration
* Youth in agriculture
* ICT4D
* Market assessments
* Market systems and/or market facilitation
Qualifications:
* M.S., M.B.A., or other post-graduate degree in agronomy, animal science, agribusiness, or other relevant field;
* 5+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in developing countries in your area(s) of expertise as listed above.
* Proven knowledge of agricultural production and agribusiness systems in Africa, preferably East Africa.
