The Pediatrician will support the delivery of Accelerated Care and Treatment for Mothers and Newborn (ACT) project which aims to reduce maternal and newborn mortality in Lindi and Mtwara regions. The doctor will work closely with the Regional Health Management Team(RHMT) to strengthen newborn care initiatives in the region through capacity building of health care workers, establishment of the newborn care units(NICU's) and supportive supervision of health care workers
Qualified medical professional (MD) specialized in paediatrics with minimum of 5 years experience in paediatrics of which at least 2 years are in neonatal care.
