The role
We are currently seeking a talented Deputy Functional Manager for Transport - Africa to work closely with our other specialists to engage in business development and project management within the Africa Regions.
With a minimum of ten years' commercial experience in highways and transport, you will play a key role in the design, construction and management of highways and transport projects. Duties will include:
- Assisting with identifying and establishing business opportunities;
- Identifying key clients and building sustainable relationships;
- Identifying and winning proposals;
- Serving as a project director on certain projects; and
- Other duties as assigned.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in highways and transport; and
- Ability to undertake extensive travel (domestic and international).
