SENIOR PROJECTS AND INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE OFFICER

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Nairobi Regional Office, the Senior Projects and Infrastructure Officer is responsible for identifying, appraising, negotiating and monitoring the Bank’s investments – debt, mezzanine, equity and other instruments in accordance with approved PTA Bank operational guidlines and business strategy. The position holder will be required to have strong client relationship skills and play multiple roles across the transaction cycle, including origination, negotiation, project development, technical transaction advisory, and project execution.

Job Specifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Civil Engineering or Economics with a Masters' degree in related fields. Post graduate qualifications in project management/appraisal will have added advantage;
• A minimum of 8 years of profesional experience and proven track record in investments in financial industry, with a competitive and reputable financial institution, including experiance in syndications in context of multiple investment instruments;
• A comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments including equity products, and risk management concepts  and their applications with strong analytical, financial modelling and investment evaluation skills.
• Proven organizational, analytical, problem solving, financial structuring, and decision making skills with the ability to build partnerships, lead multinational teams, deliver results and manage client relationships at a senior level;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high level of integrity;
• Proficient in the use of computer programs including MS Office applications; and 
• Fluent in either English or French. Working knowledge of other languages shall be an added advantage.
