Procurement & Logistics Management, Marketing and Public Relations, Human Resources Management and other business related disciplines.


9.1          ASSISTANT LECTURERS (BUSINESS MATHEMATICS & STATISTICS) – 1 POSTS – (RE – ADVERTISED)

9.1.1      DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM

9.1.2     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·    Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelors Degree)

·      Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises

·    Conducts research, seminars and case studies

·    Supervising students project;

·    Preparing teaching manuals;

·    Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;

·    Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.


9.1.3     QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

·    Master’s Degree with upper second class and above in the first degree specializing in Mathematics/ Statistics.

9.2          ASSISTANT LECTURERS (BUSINESS LAW) - 2 POSTS – (RE – ADVERTISED)

9.2.1      DUTY STATION: SINGIDA, MTWARA

·         Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelors Degree)

·           Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises

·         Conducts research, seminars and case studies

·         Supervising students project;

·         Preparing teaching manuals;

·         Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;

·         Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor


9.2.3     QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         Master’s Degree with upper second class and above in the first degree specializing in business law.

9.3          ASSISTANT LECTURERS (INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY) – 1 POST – (RE – ADVERTISED)

·           Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises

9.3.3     QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         Master’s Degree with upper second class and above in the first degree specializing in information communication technology.

9.3.4     REMUNERATION

9.4          ASSISTANT LECTURER COMMUNICATION SKILLS - 1 POST – (RE – ADVERTISED)

9.4.1     DUTY STATION: SINGIDA

9.4.2     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·                     Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelors Degree)


·                       Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises

·                    Conducts research, seminars and case studies

·                    Supervising students project;

·                    Preparing teaching manuals;

·                    Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision

·                    Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

9.4.3      QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

·                    Master’s Degree with upper second class and above in the first degree specializing in Communication Skills.

9.4.4     REMUNERATION

·         Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale.

NB: GENERAL CONDITIONS

viii.   Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to legal action

ix.     Applicants for senior positions currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.

x.       Applicants for entry levels currently employed in the Public Service should not apply, they have to adhere to Government Circular Na. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010.

xi.     Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.

xiii.   Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level education should be certified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA)
