AETS is currently seeking a Democracy Expert Category III (40 man/working days) for the following project "Support to the establishment of Democracy Profile and Democracy Action Plan".
The global objective of the Democracy Profile and Democracy Action Plan is to increase coherence to achieve better impact of EU's work in the field of democracy.

Education qualification or duration of equivalent experience:
- Hold an advanced degree in political science, economics, social sciences or equivalent discipline related to democratization processes;
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience on democratization processes;
- Relevant experience on research on political systems and democratic institutions in Tanzania;
- Experience designing and organizing stakeholders consultations and analysis of the results thereof;
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and assessment skills.
- Proficient English essential, with demonstrated ability to deliver high quality written and oral work.
- Knowledge of Kiswahili.
